An event was jointly held by our Embassy and Universiti Malaya (UM) about the conditions of historical and cultural heritage monuments in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan and the acts of vandalism committed by Armenians against these monuments during the occupation. In his lecture titled "Azerbaijani Historical, Cultural and Muslim Heritage", R. Rustamov, Counselor of the Embassy, also spoke on the current cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and UNESCO.

The event was initiated and organized by UM UNESCO Club and UM Center for Civilisational Dialogue and supported by Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia (ABIM).
