President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Serbia for official visit

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has arrived in the Republic of Serbia for an official visit.

A guard of honor was lined up for President Ilham Aliyev at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport.

The head of state was welcomed by President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic.

An official welcome ceremony has been held for President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Belgrade, capital of Serbia.

A guard of honor was arranged for President Ilham Aliyev at the square decorated with the national flags of Azerbaijan and Serbia.

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic welcomed President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

The state anthems of Azerbaijan and Serbia were played.

The chief of the guard of honor reported to the Azerbaijani President.

The presidents reviewed the guard of honor.

Members of the Serbian delegation were introduced to President Ilham Aliyev, while state and government officials of Azerbaijan were introduced to President Aleksandar Vucic.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Serbia, has visited the monuments to national leader Heydar Aliyev, and outstanding Serbian writer Milorad Pavic in Tasmajdan park, Belgrade.

The head of state laid wreaths at the monuments.

The monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev was unveiled in 2011 with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev.

The fact that a monument to the world-famous political figure, Heydar Aliyev, has been put up in Tasmajdan park is evidence of the high level of relations between the two countries.

An official lunch has been hosted on behalf of President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic in honor of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vilayat Eyvazov, and Minister of Interior of the Republic of Serbia Bratislav Gasic signed “The Agreement on readmission between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Serbia”.

Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev, and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia Goran Vesic signed “The Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia on the recognition of the certificates of the International Convention of 1978 on the Training, Diploma and Duty of Seafarers”.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sahil Babayev, and the Minister of Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nikola Selakovic signed “The Administrative Covenant on the application of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Serbia between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs of the Republic of Serbia”.

Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Serbia Kamil Khasiyev, and Director of the Development Agency of Serbia Rados Gazdic signed

“The Memorandum of Understanding between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Development Agency of Serbia of the Republic of Serbia”.

Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Serbia Kamil Khasiyev, and Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia Mihailo Vesovic signed “The Memorandum of Understanding between the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan-AZPROMO, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia”.

Following the ceremony of signing documents, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic have made press statements.
